Hi! Yes. I was not a fan of Mr. CHETAN BHAGAT coz I had not read 'THE 3 MISTAKES OF MY LIFE'. When I was reading my young friends Facebook Wall/Info in many profiles 'THE 3 MISTAKES OF MY LIFE' was included as a favourite book. I knew that CHETAN BHAGAT is known as a most popular writer in the whole world but Why? I knew after read the book. I was thinking that this book may be based on LOVE! so the young generation is liking this one. I was counting the readers of this book in Man Behind Love's category however reading is my hobby. Basically I am and I would like to be a Writer so I believe that "IF writers will not read other author's book then who will read his/her book..."
So on the dated 9th Jan. 2013 I had went to the Nathe Book Depo Medical Sq. Nagpur to receive my book set for competitive exam preparation which I had won where I saw CHETAN BHAGAT's 'THE 3 MISTAKES OF MY LIFE'. I thought "The coverpage is so impressive; Not only mine but everyone's favourite sport Cricket's picture, bails, ball, and 3 friends. Read the bold word BEST SELLER and at the bottom "The biggest selling writer in the India" declared by reputed newspaper The Newyork Times. I turned the cover to flick pages. Writer's introduction was on backside of front coverpage. On the first said read 3 words about the book's story-- Business, Cricket & Religion. I flick few pages and without wasting my precious time bought the book 'THE 3 MISTAKES OF MY LIFE'.
It might be that I could complete this book reading in week but I couldn't. Coz first reason is I am not free however I read some books in free hours of my job. Without this books reading I had so many works and I will not say my job frustation or tiredness but it may be... Because I had decided to complete the book before 22nd Feb. 2013 coz on 22nd Feb. The movie 'KAI PO CHE' would be releasing which is based on the Novel 'THE 3 MISTAKES OF MY LIFE'. 'KAI PO CHE' is released now...
The story of 'THE 3 MISTAKES OF MY LIFE' is very interesting and important is based on real life lived in 2000-2003 however book published in 2008 by Diamond Publication Pune. Story runs around Gujarat state of India but I never feel its of Gujarat. We feel its our story; we involve in them 3 means Govind, Ishan and Omi...
In the book real condition of Education, Sport, Religion, Politics, Peoples & Youth's thinking and Politician's work is shown. Now also same thing is happening in the society. In the story LOVE is frilled nicely, Romance included so reader never feel boar. Author used simple language which is very easy to understand and he expressed short-short funny things based on observation about make-up of Vidya... Means I am talking about metaphor language so we get much excited to know whats happened after that we read forward. In the article 16 SEX Scene is expressed by Govind and Vidya it might be vulger but we never feel it is vulger. Author Chetan Bhagat carefully written that topic to not been a vulger. At the center to end; the book gives one massage to society that is FRIENDSHIP & HUMANITY... Friendship & Humanity is the moral of 'THE 3 MISTAKES OF MY LIFE'. At the centre Australian cricketer shown it and at the end Hindu friends save the Muslim Ali. To save one Muslim child's life one Hindu young Omi lost his life... The topic of Religion handled greatfully by the author. I impressed by Mr. Chetan Bhagat's writing skill and what's wondering? There is NO DOUBT about his writing... GREAT!!!
I want to appeal each and everyone who didn't read this book please read once 'THE 3 MISTAKES OF MY LIFE' in your life. Don't miss this wondering truthful novel. And if you don't want to read then atleast don't miss to watch 'KAI PO CHE' which released on last Friday. I am not eligible to rate this book but if I will I would give 4.5 st*rs out of 5.
